The Site Bounded on three sides by streets and bisected by an alley, the Milton Friedman Institute for Research in Economics (MFI)'s proposed site is a high traffic area located just beyond the University of Chicago's main quad. The site is currently the home of the Chicago Theological Seminary (CTS), Chicago's oldest institution of higher education, and the Seminary Co-op Bookstore. While CTS will move to a new site in 2012, there are no current plans to move the bookstore. Construction for the main Gothic Revival building began in 1925. It is rated "Orange" in the Chicago Historic Resources survey but is not a Chicago landmark or a member of the National Register of Historic Places. You may incorporate these images or edit them however you like for use in your proposal.
